We worked with interior designer, Kirsty McMorron, Creative Director and owner of interior design practice, Absolute Abode.
Kirsty was in the process of opening an interiors shop and cafe, and wanted leather seating. She had a specific shade of blue in mind, and we were able to accommodate that using Boxmark Royal Lagoon. We then liaised directly with the shopfitters, Octagon, to supply the leather. Two years on, this project still looks great.
“When I was launching my cafe and lifestyle store, I really wanted to showcase a variety of textures and colours. I had a strong vision of what image I wanted for the café, and was delighted when UK Hide offered leather as a viable option for the upholstery. It had to be tough and hard wearing to resist the amount of traffic, but equally, I wanted a sophisticated and elegant colour palette, which UK Hide were able to achieve. The team were extremely helpful, the leather is excellent, and I am really pleased with the end result. It has proved to be very resilient and wears exceptionally well.
