Essential is one of UK Hide’s own high quality upholstery leather ranges, sourced from European cattle. It has a smooth appearance.
Due to its superior resistance to abrasion and stains, Essential is easy to clean and has antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is water and stain resistant and is also anti-mite.
It has superior durability. This makes it an excellent choice for public and commercial environments such as hotels and restaurants, as well as healthcare and medical facilities where hygiene and cleanliness are essential.
Finished thickness 1.0-1.1mm. Average hide size 4.6-4.8sqm.
We recommend dusting regularly with a soft cloth. Prompt cleaning is advised with a neutral pH soap diluted in lukewarm water, using gentle circular movements. Thanks to its technical properties Essential can be cleaned using alcohol based cleaning wipes or mild, diluted solutions containing alcohol, light bleach or amonia. Alternatively, specific leather care products can be used.
